About Lila

Fundraising is a form of activism: it mobilizes people who want to make change together. I guide my clients to think about different ways to use money to reach their goals, whether that be through impact investment capital raises, major gifts, or community crowdfunding campaigns.

I believe fundraising should be fun, and that it must be creative to be successful. Throughout my career, I have supported organizations that are willing to take risks and be creative. I helped launch Forterra’s first impact investment capital raise and ran a capital campaign to conserve 3,000 acres of forest in the Pacific Northwest. As Director of Development at the Northern Forest Center, I implemented a $30M capital campaign for rural resilience that included an impact investment raise for middle income housing.

With over a decade of fundraising experience, I excel at leading teams, mobilizing boards, building out long term fundraising strategy, and take an entrepreneurial approach to make big ideas a reality.

I received my MA in International Development and Social Change from Clark University with a focus on youth development and Central America. I live in Brattleboro, Vermont and have a deep and abiding love for pond hockey.
